This year has brought opportunities to think outside the box and to flex our creative muscles. So when our friends at Knight Vision Media asked us to be a part of a drive in concert we jumped on it!
Our friends at Knight Vision handled camera operation while we were in charge of IMAG and switching. Everyone involved wore masks and maintained proper physical distancing when able.
Audience members met each song with horns and flashing lights to show their appreciation for the artists.
The Technical ‘Stuff’:
To make sure the feed was consistent and ensure seamless switching between cameras– we used our ATEM 4K production studio switcher
Six cameras, including one wireless camera were used, including some drone footage for the live feed. We even broke out our 1000ft fibre optic cable (yes, you read that right!).
Our director made sure the camera operators were capturing the best angles for the show by using a wireless intercom system.
An event of this scale has a lot of moving parts. Given the circumstances surrounding this year we are extremely proud of the professionalism that our team and our partners at Knight Vision displayed and thrilled we got to be a part of a drive-in concert.
We are looking forward to future events like this one. Interested in hosting a similar event? Contact us and let’s chat!
